It is the unit where the first application is made and the referral to the relevant departments is made for the Health and Guidance service for the METU Academic-Administrative staff, students, SSK employees and retired personnel within the Health and Guidance Center with its 4 Patient Registration Admission staff. Employees serve every weekday between 08:30 in the morning and 17:00 in the evening.

It works with HKK numerator system. The patient gets a number according to the department he wants to be examined and gets the transaction done at the counter where he is called. It is important that the patients are called in order according to their arrival time, so that the patient does not wait too long and the priority of going to the doctor. One of the most important tasks performed is to direct the patient to the doctor. The patient's complaint is listened with interest, the file available in the hospital automation program is sent to the doctor's computer to the relevant department. Certain methods are used in this direction. These; Ensuring the right communication with the patient, approaching the patient with care, and most importantly being patient.

The patient, who goes to the doctor and gets an examination, applies again to the HKK and has the procedures terminated. In addition, student reports are sent to the relevant departments. All these records are recorded in the computer environment.

In the appointment system applied for faculty members, interviews about appointments are made by HKK. Appointment time, date and other information (postponement-promoting) is reported to the patient. At the end of each day, the Doctor/Patient number is filed on the computer and in the folder.
